Work beyond audit and accounting is considered case by case after scoping. We do not offer open-ended bespoke development.

Start with a focused pilot. Expand as confidence grows.

Audit and accounting firms are right to be cautious about changing how work is done. A pilot lets your firm test both the software and the new way of working, on a small scope, with your existing review arrangements unchanged.

  1. Agree a bounded pilot

We agree the procedures, data, participants, duration, cost, data handling arrangements and success criteria.

  2. Run alongside existing work

Where useful, Monsoon runs in parallel on a completed engagement or a limited set of procedures, so results can be compared with work you have already done.

  3. Review and refine together

We assess quality, completeness, traceability and effort against the agreed baseline. Strengths, exceptions and limitations are recorded openly.

back to step 2: refine · repeat · pause

  4. Expand through agreed decisions

You decide whether to refine, repeat, pause or expand. We prepare your team and adapt roles and review practices with you. Scope is extended only when your firm is ready.

The risk stays low because nothing replaces your existing process until you choose. Expansion is not automatic.
